Pastor Wendy Shares Her Vision for Camp Restoration Center

Our Mission

Our ministry’s mission is to fulfill
God’s mandate to “GO YE” into our communities and meet the spiritual and practical needs of the indigent (according to Matthew 25:35-40).

Our Vision

In 2012, the Lord sent Pastor Wendy a vision.

He asked her to to build a place where the extremely poor and homeless could have a chance to move forward in their lives. A center — not one that turns them out by ten each morning to face the cold streets on their own–but a safe, warm place where they can stay for 12 months, have full-time work, restore their families, and get the help they need to lift them – permanently – out of poverty.

The Vision has a name: “Camp Restoration Center.”
“Camp Restoration Center” will be a 12-month discipleship re-entry program. Center residents will not have to pay for their stay, but will be required to work, participate in a mandatory savings program, as well as attend budgeting, foundation of faith, and anger management classes. They will learn how to set attainable and measurable goals, and work toward their own restoration process. Eight different businesses are planned in connection with the Center to supply their employment.

In 2021 our leadership approved the process to move forward with our plans to make Camp Restoration Center a reality.

By that May, we had acquired a 5,200 sq.ft. store with an 800 sq.ft. warehouse, and on July 1, 2021 we launched and opened our Helping The Homeless Thrift Store! We have an additional 1600 square-foot warehouse space for donations on the same property as our store.

We also leased a 2,800 sq.ft. office and food storage facility, where volunteers and team leaders are able to prepare for our weekly community food outreaches with our mobile food bus. God’s plan is coming together…

Our goal is to raise, in five years, enough funds to pay cash for approximately 500 acres to build this beautiful facility for which the Lord gave us vision. Won’t you help this vision become reality, and restore the lives of those truly in need.

Thank you, and God Bless You.
